I began my career at the University of Saskatchewan taking a single course in Psychology as an undergraduate in the Department of Psychology. Intrigued with introductory psychology it crossed my mind that this might make for a rewarding career.  I then completed my Masters at the University of Calgary in Applied Psychology (1998) and PhD at the University of Alberta also in Applied Psychology (2001).

After a succession of post-doctoral fellowships at the University of Alberta, University of Pennsylvania and University of British Columbia I was beginning to become enamoured of work in clinical psychology.

I started an internship in clinical psychology in Ashland Kentucky licensed with the Kentucky Board of Examiners of Psychology (2009). After returning to the Province of Saskatchewan I applied for licensure with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists and accepted a position with the Wascana Rehabilitation Center in Regina, Saskatchewan (2010).

I taught  undergraduate and graduate courses at the Universities of Saskatchewan and Regina from 2014-2018 before applying to the California Board of Psychology (2018).  I earned the designation of independently practicing clinical psychologist in 2018 in the State of California. I have been employed at several positions as a clinical psychologist including Executive Mental Health Inc (clinical psychologist), California Department of Corrections and Rehabiliation (prison psychologist) and Ewing Diagnostics (disability psychologist).

Aside from these accomplishments my greatest would be the birth of my lovely daughter. In my spare time I like fishing, gardening, cooking, fine dining, waterskiing, camping and driving about  in the summer in the Saskatchewan country. I like country music, reggae, rock music, metal and jazz.

I am a Roman Catholic and consider myself a person of faith.
